In my opinion… it is!
Having breakfast will determine how you feel for the rest of the day. Introducing carbohydrates early on will have you chasing that sugar craving every couple of hours and have you feeling week if you try to avoid them later on.
If possible, stay away from cereals, bagels, crumpets and croissants! There are many more but these seem to be the main culprits.
Regulating your blood sugars at the start of the day not only helps with satiety but cognitive function as well.
Try utilising carbohydrates around your workouts or at the end of a non training day.
I personally, have never felt better than I do today due to the changes I’ve made to my diet. If you’re struggling with ideas on what to have for breakfast, I’ve posted some of the meals I start the day with on the next few slides above.
